Flowers From the Farm Network

December 29, 2013 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever dreamed of growing flowers to sell but don’t know where to start or feel daunted by the marketing and competition from large commercial growers?

Flowers From the Farm website homepage

Easy to navigate and useful website

Perhaps you are looking for a particular flower for your wedding but don’t relish the thought of trawling through the many different suppliers’ websites.

Flowers From the Farm are a not for profit organisation formed from a network of farmers, smallholders and gardeners who have come together to support each other to promote locally grown cut flowers.

There is huge interest in traditional, seasonal flowers; brides want them; florists seek them and customers long for an alternative to the unchanging supermarket displays.

Working on the basis that there is strength in numbers, Flowers From the Farm aim to be the hub that brings together growers (large and small), wholesalers, florists, media and the customer.

Search facility
The easy to navigate website has a very useful growers’ map or flower search facility.  So it is easy to find a grower near to you or source a particular flower for your wedding or event.

Events/Workshops
One day workshops are held around the country to help you grow flowers for sale or simply for your own pleasure.

Every member grows and sells their own flowers direct to the public at farmers’ markets or at wedding fairs, at roadside stands or country shows.
They are fresh, bloom in their natural season, look beautiful, smell glorious and are locally grown.
