Last year we received many requests for details about growing sweet peas for weddings and this year we have found a new variety Turquoise Lagoon, exclusive to Thompson and Morgan.
Sweet peas really need to be started off early indoors and do well sown 5 seeds to a tall pot on a sunny window ledge.
Sweet Pea (Lathyrus odoratus) ‘Turquoise Lagoon’ is grown as a Hardy Annual and is an ideal cut flower suited to walls and fences, cottage gardens, scented gardens.
June, July, August
March, April, October
From the same breeder as Sweet Pea ‘Blue Shift’, this stunning variety is equally eye-catching. Each delicate pink bloom gradually matures to a striking turquoise colour.
These extraordinary annuals make a spectacular display bearing different coloured blooms at the same time – flowers even change colour in the vase after cutting!
Sweet Pea ‘Turquoise Lagoon’ is a beautiful annual climber with a fabulous fragrance, and a ‘must have’ variety for the sweet pea enthusiast.
Height: 180cm (71″). Spread: 30cm (12″).
